Short story
Emma and the Shower of Osmanthus Blossoms
Emma once wandered into a secret garden where tiny pieces of beauty drifted slowly through the air.
At first, she thought it was only the breeze moving through the trees.
Then she looked more closely and saw small golden blossoms falling softly from the branches. Light and unending, they descended like a gentle rain.
A subtle fragrance spread through the garden: faint, elusive, and impossible to forget.
They were osmanthus flowers.
Some beauty does not need to be chased. It comes quietly, stays gently, and remains beside you long after you first notice it.
